My Philosophy
A Doula has a profound influence on the emotional, spiritual, and physical health of a mother and their baby. My own mama had a Doula for her pregnancy with me and I am deeply grateful for her choice. So much so that I feel called to return the love and care to families in my community.
Though we don’t remember our births, our bodies, minds and spirits do. Birth influences both the mother and baby’s nervous system, immune system, cognitive function, as well as their connection with others and the world.
Our bodies listen to our words and actions. When you set thoughtful and authentic intentions, your mind and body are aligned for the birth ahead.
My role is to be your support and advocate — holding space for the birth you intend. You deserve to feel empowered and safe.
Bringing life into the world is perhaps the most beautiful and challenging experience of a person's life. Supporting that journey has been a calling of mine since childhood. I am honored and humbled to walk alongside you.
